September 2018 fanden im slowakischen\u00a0Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica die Weltmeisterschaften im Feuerwehrsport statt. Sie werden j\u00e4hrlich\u00a0 von der Internationalen Sportf\u00f6deration der Feuerwehren und Retter\u00a0<span style=\"text-align: left; color: #333333; text-transform: none; line-height: 24px; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman','Bitstream Charter',Times,serif; font-size: 16px; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; word-spacing: 0px; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; word-wrap: break-word; orphans: 2; float: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: transparent;\">organisiert und umfassen vor allem L\u00e4nder des ehemaligen Ostblocks, aber auch \u00d6sterreich, die T\u00fcrkei und Korea. So ist der Kamerad Alexander Krenz schon ein erfahrener Veteran der Mannschaft als Aktiver und betreute 2018 in Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica die Damen. m\u00e4nner sind, die auch w\u00e4hrend ihrer Dienstzeit trainieren k\u00f6nnen, sind die Sportlerinnen und Sportler aus Deutschland \u00fcberwiegend freiwillige Feuerwehrangeh\u00f6rige aus mehreren Feuerwehreinheiten.
